1-TO-1 PROGRAM

The Technology Services Department of the Morgan County R-II School District manages and supports a wide variety of technology equipment, tools and resources across the school district. Support is provided in all buildings based submissions to the Staff and Student Help Desks.

The Technology Services Department webpages within the Morgan County R-II School District website are designed to provide information about the department, department staff, and district technology resources, as well as direct you to technology related policies, procedures, and guidelines.

The MCR2 Schools 1:1 Program consists of one device per student in grades 6th - 12th. Students are required to pay a yearly insurance (tech) fee and other applicable fees related to breakage, loss, or misplacement of the device and its components -- per the technology usage policies and procedures and the insurance program guidelines.

Teachers integrate technology as a tool, where applicable and appropriate. It is one tool of many in their "teaching toolbox" which should also include direct instruction, cooperative learning strategies, hands-on learning, and/or other instructional strategies.

For issues related to online tools and assigned homework, please contact your student's teacher. If you have questions regarding district curriculum, please contact the district's Curriculum Director, Vanessa Cochran, at (573) 378-4231.

For all other technical issues (e.g. broken device, lost device, or stolen device) please contact your student's building office and the district's Technology Department at (573) 569-9091.

District Building External WiFi

There is Wifi coverage in all district buildings, including the building parking lots, and sports fields (e.g. football and baseball/softball field). Student devices should connect to this wireless.
