FAQs

The Morgan County R-II School District wants patrons to get the answers to their questions quickly and easily. We will continue to add to the FAQ page as other questions arise. Please contact Nicole Whitfield, the district’s Communications Specialist, by emailing communications@versaillestigers.org.

  • A: You will find most of the answers to your calendar questions by clicking going to our District Calendar page. If you have a calendar question specific to your child's school or teacher, please visit the school's website. Versailles Elementary and Versailles Middle School have calendars that are linked via their school building pages. The district events calendar, including building/group information, can also be found via the ParentSquare app. For more information on this, please visit our Communication Services Office page. If you don't find the event/information you're looking for, please call your child's school or our Communications Services office at (573)378-4145.

  • A: Our building office secretaries are here to assist families new to our district August through June. If you have a student in Grades PK-5, call (573) 378-4272. If you have a student in Grades 6-8, call (573) 378-5432. If you have a student in Grades 9-12, call (573) 378-4697.

  • A: Contact our high school counselor's office to speak with a counselor, at (573)378-4697.

  • A: Information about Versailles High School events can be found on the District Calendar page, ParentSquare, or the Versailles High School Facebook page. The final date for graduation is usually set towards the beginning of the second semester once the district and high school administration have had a chance to determine when the final date of the school year will be (due to inclement weather days) or review other factors that may impact the graduation date. For more information, please call the high school office at (573) 378-4697.

  • A: Breakfast and lunch menus can be found by going to the Nutrition Services Department page.

  • A: The district has one early childhood center (Little Tigers Early Learning Center) for students receiving ECSE services or attending preschool. Your student must be 4 years of age before July 31st of the upcoming school year to attend and must be screened. The district has one elementary school (Versailles Elementary) for grades K-5, one middle school (Versailles Middle School) for grades 6-8, and one high school (Versailles High School) for grades 9-12.

    If you would like to know what bus your student will ride based on your address or to see if you are living in district boundaries, please contact the district's Transportation Department. Your student must be enrolled before they may utilize district transportation.

  • A: You can find our district's report card via the Missouri Department of Elementary and Secondary Education website or via our district website or by contacting our Assistant Superintendent, Becki Kempf.

  • A: Please visit the Board of Education page. Should you need additional information about the Board of Education or Board Policies, call the Secretary of the Board and Superintendent’s Secretary, Danielle Johnson, at (573)378-4231.

  • A: Please call the District Administrative Offices at (573)378-4231 or Communications Services at (573)378-4145. All media requests should be directed to our Superintendent of Schools, Dr. Bryan Pettengill.

  • A: You will find contact information for all schools and principals at the bottom of each building page or by going to our Contact page.

  • A: The Morgan County R-II School District provides phone, text and email alerts to all families and staff through our mass notification system known as ParentSquare or StudentSquare (for middle and high school students only). If you are a parent and you believe you did not receive an alert from either your child's school or the district, please contact your child's school and double-check to make sure your phone number is correctly entered into the district’s Student Information System (SIS).

    If you are a staff member and you did not receive an alert from either the district or your assigned building, please contact your assigned school building office first to double-check and make sure your phone number and email address are correctly entered into the district’s Student Information System (SIS). If they are not able to assist you, please contact the district's ParentSquare and StudentSquare administrator, Nicole Whitfield, at (573) 378-4145.

  • A: Please call your student's school building office or nurse with any questions regarding state-recommended/school-required immunization. Or, you may call the Morgan County Health Department at (573) 378-5438.

  • A: School handbooks are accessible via the school websites or you can call your student’s building office for a printed copy.

  • A: If you have questions regarding what is considered to be “in-district” contact the district’s Transportation Department.

  • A: The district uses Infinite Campus' Campus Parent as the parent portal for their child's grade, attendance, and related data. Parents who are new to the district or who have never set up a Parent Portal account can get help signing up for a new Parent Portal by calling their student's assigned building office or by emailing the Communications office. If you are trying to access your Parent Portal and have trouble, you can contact your student’s building office for further assistance. 

  • A: We recommend that you visit our district website on a regular basis, as well as follow our district social media pages via Facebook or Instagram pages. We also highly recommend that you download the ParentSquare app to get the most up-to-date district alerts and important information, as well as our district newsletter. Buildings will provide newsletters and notices as needed.
